You'll act as a professional ambassador for our company, delivering quality goods and exceptional customer service. Most runs are out-and-back on the same day, and you'll be compensated not just for miles driven, but for various other essential transportation activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSafely operate a tractor-trailer combination.Assist with unloading using a pallet jack when needed.Perform multi-stop deliveries to diverse retailers, ensuring delivery accuracy and exceptional customer service.Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor and trailer.Maintain safety by adhering to company, FMCSA, and DOT regulations during equipment operation.Comply with company policies, procedures, and professional standards.POSITION REQUIREMENTSMinimum age of 23.One year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience required; two years preferred.No history of DUI or drug/alcohol-related driving convictions.Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred (training available).Ability to safely inspect and operate trucks and equipment.Valid Idaho CDL Class A and medical card.Professional, reliable, and punctual, with knowledge of delivery routes and highways.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally with partners.Capacity to work independently and manage tasks effectively.Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening.At Associated Food Stores, we prioritize finding the right drivers while ensuring that our company is a good fit for you.
