National Account Manager formulates sound business plans, maximizes opportunities, manages risk, delivers on profitability goals, develops effective long-term business relationships, and exceed customer expectations. How will you create impact? * Business Planning - strong emphasis on execution with responsibility for developing comprehensive plans. These plans are characterized by a high degree of detail, utilizing both internal company data and syndicated market research to inform strategies and projections. * Financial Planning and Analysis - Responsible for developing detailed financial projections and managing budgets, including: * Markdown strategies to optimize inventory management and sales * Allocation and management of promotional spending * Revenue forecasting and profit margin analysis * Sales Cycle Management - Comprehensive oversight and execution of all phases in the selling cycle, from initial Product Previews through to Modular Execution. This includes: * Leading cross-functional collaboration with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment throughout the cycle * Coordinating strategy and implementation across various stages such as: * Preview presentation preparation * Preview meeting execution * Preview recaps and communication related to requested changes * Customer follow-up related to modular and feature plans * Drive the evolution of customer relationships into integrated partnerships by: * Proactively engaging and coordinating multiple internal functions, including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Digital/Social teams * Leading initiatives to create seamless collaboration between the customer and various company departments * Developing and implementing strategies to deepen cross-functional engagement and maximize partnership value * Drive comprehensive sales execution and account management: * Develop and maintain in-depth account intelligence, including: • Engaging key decision makers, analyzing and optimizing sales trends and suggesting revisions to the plan as needed. * Take full ownership of customer financials by: Strategically implementing rollbacks as needed, optimizing markdown strategies, and by allocating and managing promotional spending effectively * Regularly assess and report on account performance, proactively addressing challenges and capitalizing on opportunities. * Own the customer forecast: * Collaborate closely with customer demand planning teams and internal CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) resources to develop robust, aligned, and accurate forecasts * Leverage both internal sales data and syndicated market research to create accurate, data-driven demand projections * Serve as the subject matter expert on customer's promotional events, cadence, and decision-making processes * Continuously refine the forecast to improve accuracy and responsiveness to market changes * Communication - increased emphasis on managing up, sharing insights more broadly via mass communication, and significant interaction with several functional areas of the Customer.
