Responsibilities * Oversees and directs operations of all production areas to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. * Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop overall production schedules, materials, and resource requirements to meet short and long-term production goals. * Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately. * Monitors shift production metrics to identify and resolve issues and develop process improvements and best practices. * Plans maintenance, turnarounds, and downtime for efficiency and speed. * Establishes staff training processes, equipment, gear, and tool requirements to comply with health and safety regulations. * Leads and directs the work of other managers and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers. Qualifications * Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of relevant Education & Experience. * Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree * Discipline/Major: Business degree preferred * Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 8-10 years experience in a relevant function * Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Leadership skills.
