We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who are inspired to work smart and work hard in a team environment. As a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier, you will be the face of our company, delivering packages exclusively for Amazon. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill full-time (5 days) and part-time (2-3 days) foot courier positions in New York City.Delivery Walker Associate Responsibilities:Load hand trucks and deliver packages (up to 50 lbs) by foot in all weather conditions, efficiently, safely and punctuallyFollow strict safety standards and practices throughout all delivery stages from package pickup, transport and deliveryOperate an electronic device/mobile phone for GPS and daily records of deliveries via the Amazon Flex appContact the customers, when necessary, in order to deliver their packages in a safe location/follow their directionInteract with customers and the public in a professional and positive mannerYou can expect to work between 7-8 hours a dayYou can expect to report to the general area of Downtown Manhattan (Soho, Tribeca, Nolita)We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the streets and the doorsteps of customers.Delivery Walker Associate Requirements:Must be 18 years or olderMust be able to read and speak English, for safety reasonsHave a valid, non-expired State ID or Driver's License (New York City cards are NOT acceptable)Must be physically capable of moving boxes up to 50 lbs. and push a large hand cart throughout the streets on Manhattan, with or without reasonable accommodationConsent to a drug test. Marijuana is NOT tested for in the drug screening. Familiarity with a smart phone as you will need to communicate constantly with your driver/dispatchers and use digital apps for delivering packagesHave a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player.
