They must also help with any construction, fabrication, or demolition of equipment and/or structures in the facility. They must be able to perform at an acceptable level according to industry standards by completing their required duties in an efficient and timely manner.Duties and Responsibilities:a) Troubleshoot and repair any equipment in the facility.b) Follow outlines of preventive maintenance programs for all equipment located on the company premises.c) Control the inventory of maintenance tools, repair parts, and operating supplies.d) Help maintain the maintenance repair shop as a clean, neat and orderly place in order to perform repairs.e) Interact with outside contractors when needed.Qualifications:(Knowledge in any/all of the following areas is desired)a) All types of pneumatic devices and systemsb) All types of electric and electronic devices and systems, including PLCsc) All types of hydraulic devices and systemsd) General plumbing and pipefitting knowledgee) All types of metal working: welding, cutting, and fabricationf) The ability to read, understand and draw up blueprints and schematicsg) The ability to operate and repair forklifts, stock-pickers, etc.h) Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
