Your Impact at SAM A Survey Project Manager is responsible for supervising a team of technicians to complete large-scale survey projects in accordance with the minimum standards of practice and client requirements. This position is often the key point of contact with clients and also includes the oversight and reporting of budgets and utilization of resources. Project Managers duties include proposal writing, staff development, business development, and the oversight of the day-to-day operations of teams on multiple projects. Demonstrates the Company's vision and mission, while successfully performing its core values related to employees, ethics, operational excellence, safety, integrity and corporate social responsibility; Execute work plan and monitor staffing requirements for projects; Lead staff and provide them with a clear explanation of the scope; Supervise technicians and field crews to complete large-scale projects; Manage scope, budget, and QA/QC for assigned project duties; Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency; Review performance data (financial, budgets, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels; Serve as Company representative at meetings and presentations; Develop and maintain positive client relationships; Participate in business development opportunities and maintain strong client relationships; Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company's strategic goals; This position has direct supervisory responsibilities of employees to include mentoring, coaching, and counseling staff as needed.
