We are looking for a Manager of Project Management located in our Hingham, MA location, with the world's most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, your role is critical in driving customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. You will lead a team of project managers in day to day activities nationwide. This position allows for remote working, some work travel will be required. Responsibilities * Provide leadership to the Project Managers acting as a positive role model at all times; offering mentorship in the execution of work, workflow, processes, training and development * Ensure that the Project Managers have the appropriate tools, training and equipment to carry out their tasks, that they are adhering to the business requirements and processes * Ensure that the quality of service provided by the team for each customer meets or exceeds their expectations. Act as the initial point of escalation for sales representative and customer queries. * Collaborate with Application Engineers, Design Engineers, Manufacturing team, Field Service team and Finance team * Serve as escalation point for complex issues and challenges. * Assign projects to Project Managers and effectively manage workload across team. * Drive improvements in team including improving maturity of project management processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations * Coach project managers in the identification of project risks and in the development of mitigation plans. * Coach project managers in contract and claim management activities and successful prevention and negotiation of back charges and contractual damages. * Build and maintain detailed procedures * Communicate effectively and efficiently with all internal and external Project Stakeholders. * This is a hybrid position (2-3 days in the office in Hingham MA and the rest of the time can be remote) You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: * BS/BA, BS in engineering preferred, related field or equivalent * Ability to travel 25% * 10 +demonstrated ability in project management including leading teams and setting expectations to deliver required results * Expertise in the energy/critical power industry is helpful * Experience with SAP is preferred * Strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills * Demonstrates and applies leadership skills You'll benefit from: * Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
