Location: Long Beach, CA Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule (9-hour days with every other Friday off) Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Long Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. Key Responsibilities: * Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders. * Prepare and package outgoing shipments for delivery. * Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases as necessary. * Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. * Collaborate with other departments to resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies. * Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs). * Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
