Field Tech- Indianapolis, IN Job Description This engineering firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Tech to join their team. Their power delivery team continues to grow due to an influx in project business with Duke Energy supporting their distribution work. Additional responsibilities are listed below: Job Responsibilities: * Collect data on power poles, including attachment heights and power communication details, using specialized software (Katapult). * You will travel daily within the state of Indiana to gather necessary data, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, accurately, and promptly. * Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and the public, and you will be responsible for uploading and downloading collected data using computer systems as trained. * Operate and maintain company equipment safely and efficiently, follow company and departmental safety rules and procedures, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain a clean, safe work environment. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new computer software efficiently * Comfortable working in the field * Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management and customers * Desires a team based environment and can work cohesively with team members on a variety of projects and tasks I am actively hiring and interviewing for this position!
