Dryer Field Service Technician The Grain Dryer Field Service Technician is responsible to service, repair and install our grain dryers and other grain equipment products, while providing high level customer service. Essential Job Functions: * Perform installation, service and repair work on our grain dryer products as required, as well as other equipment including, but not limited to grain bins, material handling and grain handling products * Perform set-up & testing on dryer finished products to ensure they are functioning & assembled correctly * Assist in loading grain dryers on flatbed trucks, using overhead cranes for safe and accurate shipping * Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively * Maintain current knowledge of our equipment, technology and resources related to repair and service * Provide technical advice and information on installation and service of our products * Read & understand schematics, wiring diagrams and technical procedures * Assist in research and development projects and testing of our products * Perform welding duties as needed (e.g., flat, vertical, and overhead stick welding) * Make routine independent decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic design issues * Act as an Assembly lead, as needed throughout the year, to assist in assembling dryers, etc. Qualifications: * Field service experience preferred, grain dryer and other handling equipment experience a plus * Hands-on mechanical experience, including basic plumbing and electrical, & welding experience a plus * Ability to travel & work extended hours in outdoor weather * Current CDL a plus Pre-employment drug screens required EEO/Drug Free Workplace
