Box Office SupervisorTheatreSquared seeks a Box Office Supervisor to join the organization as the company begins Season 19 in its new, world-class, two-venue facility. This staff supervisor will maintain a culture of high-level customer service, efficient transactions, goal-driven sales, and effective communication aligning with T2's mission and brand. The Box Office Supervisor will ensure a hospitable, smooth, and high-quality continuum of service at all times and act as an information resource for patrons regarding TheatreSquared programming and events. This position reports to the Ticketing & CRM Director.As an engaged team member who regularly interfaces with patrons, event and group sales clients, and vendors, while coordinating closely with T2's front-of-house staff - and as a positive, collaborative member of an inclusive workforce - this new staff member will help TheatreSquared answer the question, "How can a theatre be an agent of social change - helping foster a community that is fundamentally more equitable?" The Box Office Supervisor work schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, 12pm-8pm during show weeks and Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-6pm during dark weeks. This role may be scheduled for external/special events as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Work as box office lead for most show shifts, ensuring that patron concerns/issues are handled in an effective manner, reporting is complete and accurate, and cash handling is managed appropriatelyAssist Ticketing & CRM Director with day-to-day operations of box office, including but not limited to daily reporting, ticket mailings, scheduling, cash handling, etc.Assist Ticketing & CRM Director with season show building in Tessitura as needed each yearDemonstrate excellent customer service skills and comprehensive problem-solving skillsWork to sell TheatreSquared season offerings, single tickets, and add-onsCommunicate information regarding performances and organizational policies to patronsAnswer patron calls and efficiently field requestsMonitor and respond to patron voicemails and emails in a timely mannerComplete inbound/outbound calling or mailing projects for ticket sales campaignsResolve patron ticketing issues while maintaining a positive and friendly interactionMaintain up-to-date knowledge of TheatreSquared performances and events, as well as organizational policiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date patron information in ticketing system (Tessitura)Transact tickets and related purchases with the highest accuracy Manage cash drawers and make appropriate and accurate changeOther duties as assignedRegular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with othersQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Experience in customer serviceAble to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as being able to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment Able to work well independently and as part of a dynamic team Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills Able to successfully handle multiple priorities in sometimes high-stress situations Able to work with the public and possess conflict resolution skills Good problem solving and strategic thinking skills. Follow verbal and written instructions of management and accept feedback from management to improve performanceAble to learn and operate a Windows-based ticketing system (Tessitura)DESIRABLE SKILL SETS:Knowledge of Tessitura system (or comparable CRM)Experience in arts or other non-profit organizationsDemonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and patronsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:This full-time, permanent position offers an annual salary of $40,000 to $44,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
