Job Title

Principle Responsibilities: * Receive and evaluate hogs as they arrive at the plant * Count and sort off-quality hogs * Supervise hourly union workforce in completion of duties * Complete necessary paperwork * Comply with relevant laws, rules, and procedures, including Packers and Stockyards Act and Humane Handling Working Conditions: * Production and maintenance settings * Exposure to various chemicals, machinery and knives likely * Slippery floors, extreme temperature and loud noises Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience: Experience in swine production Special Skills: * Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal * Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills * Excellent computer skills required Relationships Internal: Supervise hourly union workers External: Laws, regulations in Humane Handling JBS is an equal opportunity employer.
