Description We are seeking a Senior Clerk to join our team in San Diego, California. The Senior Clerk will involve undertaking a variety of administrative tasks to support our operations and enhance our team's efficiency. The Senior Clerk will be part of a dynamic workplace, offering a short-term contract employment opportunity in the industry. Responsibilities: - Processing and filing important documents to ensure organized record keeping. - Accurately scanning and digitizing documents for easy retrieval and reference. - Managing incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely communication. - Handling customer inquiries professionally and efficiently, providing excellent customer service. - Monitoring and managing customer accounts to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. - Accurately sorting and distributing incoming faxes to the appropriate recipients. - Assisting in claims processing and providing support for contracted providers. - Answering provider line and managing customer inquiries in an efficient manner. - Ensuring accurate diagnosis and demographics forms are maintained in the electronic health record system. - Conducting appropriate actions for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) discharges.
