AmanaCare is a family-owned, statewide home-care agency that has faithfully served Nebraskans for over four years. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate after-hours support specialist to join our team.Responsibilities: In this role, you will provide critical support to our clients and caregivers outside of regular business hours. This support includes handling incoming calls, addressing urgent needs, and ensuring continuity of care during evenings and weekends. Typical activities will include:Client and caregiver support. Answering calls and responding promptly to messages during after-hours and weekends. Addressing and resolving any urgent issues, such as scheduling changes, emergencies, etc. Providing information and assistance to clients and caregivers regarding services and care plans.Communication. Maintaining clear and effective communication with clients, caregivers, and office staff. Relaying important information and updates to the appropriate team members. Documenting all calls and actions taken in the company's database.Scheduling. Coordinating last-minute schedule changes and filling caregiver shifts as needed. Updating and maintaining accurate schedules in the company's system.Problem-solving. Assessing and addressing urgent client and caregiver needs. Escalating complex issues to on-call supervisors or management as needed.Experience/Skills:Previous experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting. (Experience with scheduling and coordinating staff is a plus.)Proficiency with computer systems and an ability to learn new software quickly.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients and caregivers.Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Superior phone etiquette and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals.Working hours:Sa-Su 9am-9pm.AmanaCare is an equal opportunity employer.
