Massara is the second restaurant from the Fai Bravo Hopsitalty group behind the  Michelin Starred (NYTimes 3-Star)  Italian restaurant, Rezdí´ra. Massara, like Rezdí´ra is a regionally specific restaurant dedicated to the food and hospitality of the Campanian region in Italy. Fai Bravo was founded by CIA graduate Chef Stefano Secchi and entrepreneur David Switzer.  Mr. Secchi's father is from Italy and he has worked and cooked in the homeland for 3 years including at Osteria Francescana, All'Enoteca and Hosteria Giusti, based in Modena, Emilia Romagna and Canale, Piemonte respectively.   We are seeking an experienced   Floor Manager with a strong work ethic to help maintain the highest standards of service and professionalism.  Our ideal candidate is  a professional who is also energetic, and passionate about all aspects of hospitality. The FOH Manager will work closely with both the General Manager and all members of the restaurant's management team to ensure the restaurant is operating according to the standards set by the executive management team and owners. They will be responsible for overseeing service, training FOH staff and will share in administrative responsibilities. Managers are an integral and active member of service. Managers are expected to be hands on from the beginning to end of the guest experience - with guests, the service team, and with Back of House team. As part of our operating team, you'll receive : Competitive salary Quarterly bonus Health insurance with 75% match on vision and dental Opportunity to build upon a knowledge of strictly Italian cuisine with a focus on Southern Italia 20% discount for in-restaurant dining Opportunity to grow with future projects Our ideal candidate posesses the following qualities: Constant desire to improve all FOH operations Be organized, able to supervise and execute shifts Deliver superior service and optimize client dining experience on a daily, consistent basis Demonstrate an emphasis on driving business while improving quality and guest retention Performing high level of customer/guest service and guest interaction by exhibiting a friendly personality and engaging guests consistently Lead by example in all areas: Proper execution of all service standards and protocols Clear and professional communication with other managers, all hourly employees, and guests Exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude Service Experience Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of fine dining experience as a manager  Computer literacy to include: Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Toast and TripleSeat Literacy to reservation platforms such as: OpenTable/Resy Strong food and beverage knowledge with the desire to learn in detail about traditional and authentic Italian food, wine, beer and spirits Experience in various capacities of restaurant staff (ie: server, host, bartender, busser, runner, etc.) strongly preferred Must have open availability and able to work flexible hours Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work with precision Financial/Cash handling  Conflict resolution and mediation  Compensation The base pay range for this position is $85,000 - $87,000 per year.  The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc. If you are interested in joining our team, please submit your resume.
