Great River Industires Project Manager Job Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of industrial construction projects from conception to completion. This role requires a leader who can coordinate with diverse teams, manage resources efficiently, and ensure all projects adhere to legal standards, quality specifications, and client expectations. Responsibilities: * Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. * Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, selecting tools and materials, and ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations. * Lead and motivate a team of workers and subcontractors. Provide direction and support and foster a collaborative work environment. * Promote and enforce safety protocols on the job site. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. * Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, contractors, and suppliers. * Manage the budget for projects, monitoring expenses to ensure projects remain within financial limits. * Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. * Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. * Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses. * Responsible for reviewing, approving, and implementing changes to the project scope, timeline, or budget as requested by clients or necessitated by unforeseen circumstances. This includes negotiating the terms of the change and ensuring that all changes are documented and communicated to all stakeholders. * Address and resolve issues that arise during the construction process. This involves anticipating potential problems and developing contingency plans. * Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants. * Maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure client satisfaction through timely completion of projects and responsiveness to client needs and concerns. * Oversee the completion of projects, including final inspections, punch lists, and handover documentation. Ensure that all contractual and project closure activities are completed satisfactorily. Qualifications: * Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the industrial construction sector. * Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods. * Expertise in building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards. * Strong familiarity with construction management software packages. * Ability to plan and see the "big picture". * Competent in conflict and crisis management. * Leadership and human resources management skills. * Excellent time and project management skills. * BS degree in construction management is a plus.
