The MURR facility is a reliable resource for researchers, scientists, engineers and students across the country.Be a part of the future of fighting cancer and saving lives.Be a part of MURRJob Description The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) is seeking a Front Desk Associate to serve as the first point of contact by creating a welcoming experience for guests, visitors, staff, and other stakeholders. This position will engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and will report to the Senior Director of Central Services.Key Responsibilities for this position include:Promote facility safety and security by following policies, procedures, and federal regulations, and guiding guests and visitors through themDemonstrate outstanding customer service to staff, students, partners, visitors, etc. via phone, email, and in-personAdminister check-in/check-out procedures for identification badges, dosimetry, keys, vehicle, etc.Answer, screen, and forward incoming telephone calls and provide information, as appropriateMaintain accurate and up-to-date records (logbooks, directories, distribution lists, etc.)Assist in the coordination and scheduling of facility toursMaintain facility-wide general office supply inventoryReceive, sort, and distribute daily mail deliveriesPrepare and format correspondence, reports, and other documentation as requestedAssist in the planning and preparation of meetings and other eventsProvide administrative and clerical support for MURR personnel when neededPerform other related duties as assignedMust be available for regular and consistent onsite work.Successful candidates will be good communicators with exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
