Compensation and benefits are competitive!Responsibilities:Supervise and mentor production employees on assigned shifts.Manage shift schedules, including workstation assignments, rotations, and back-up for absent employees.Ensure all team members are trained in safe operating procedures, including lock-out/tag-out.Monitor daily production operations to ensure adherence to timing, quality, and cost standards.Direct the routine maintenance and setup of machines, equipment, and facilities.Ensure compliance with HACCP and USDA standards.Maintain and ensure product quality and safety standards.Identify and troubleshoot production issues, guiding operators in problem-solving.Suggest and implement changes in workflows and equipment use to enhance efficiency.Minimize downtime and production costs through effective management strategies.Conduct regular floor walks to address questions and concerns.Hold monthly line meetings to update the team on objectives and performance.Review time and attendance records for payroll processing.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field (technical, engineering, management) or 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.2 years of experience in food production is preferred.Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.Proficiency in MS Office and industry-standard software.Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.Knowledge of process control statistics.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to write reports and business correspondence.Proficient in reading and interpreting documents in English, such as safety files and procedure manuals.Strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems.Experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve production goals.
