Job Summary: As an Account Manager at Andreini & Company, you will perform many diverse responsibilities which ultimately help us succeed in providing extraordinary customer service to our customers. The Account Manager responsibilities can be summarized in four main categories: Customer Service and Issue Resolution, Document Management, Quoting and Spread sheeting, and Management of Value-Added Services. Duties and Responsibilities: * Partner with producers to bind and secure renewals and new business. * Handle client requests for endorsements to policies, certificates of insurance, and high-level general questions. * Regular interaction with clients both on the phone and via email. * Handle all servicing aspects of an existing book of business as well as market new business. * Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options / exclusions; making coverage recommendations; requesting policy changes and assisting with the needs of the client. Qualifications: * Valid California state Property & Casualty Insurance License. * 5 years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience within a brokerage firm. * Good understanding of all Commercial Lines coverages and related laws, codes, regulations; all aspects of marketing process; commercial insurance rating, insurance terminiology, and concepts; insurance company operations and their relations to the sales/marketing process as well as policy structure and content. * Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and technology and computer proficiency including agency management systems. * Outstanding communication, written and verbal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
