Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Jersey City site is looking for a new National Sea Logistics Training Intern to join our Sea Logistics team. Your Role Reporting to the National Sea Logistics Training Manager you will be presented with unique opportunity to learn the field of Supply Chain/Logistics with hands-on work experience. The knowledge obtained by the intern through immersing themselves into the day-to-day activities of the company will be invaluable experience as the intern advances their career. This position is for a one-year internship, assisting the National Training Team with training and administrative support, as well as material creation, to bring continued improvement and efficiencies into the Sea Logistics Training. Your Responsibilities * Post and announce training schedules and keep attendance via Corporate LMS Learning Management Systems). * Produce live trainings for designated groups and record questions and areas of concerns for trainers to review and act on. * Maintain department web pages and support the team in web page related efforts. * Design, develop and maintain multimedia visual aids and presentations for the end users' training library. * Support the Regional Training Team with effective curriculum development. * Support the design of training surveys to collect training participants' feedback. Provide analytics to improve trainings effectiveness based on the feedback. * Support the National Training Manager with defining and measuring success metrics and monitor change progress. * Support different platform testing and analysis for possible integration into the training. * Collaborate with the National Systems, Process and Training Team and internal stakeholders to identify training needs across the Business Unit Sea Logistics. * Help with the analysis of the training effectiveness and suggest appropriate modification if needed. * Develop and seek out cutting-edge research and information to generate ideas for Sea Logistics Training development. * Attend and participate in departmental meetings and workshops to discuss business process related issues and contribute to the projects as a team member. * Must constantly keep up with the Business Unit Sea Logistics changes in the processes, policies and regulations in order to support end-user trainings development. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
