Astronics AES?is seeking a?Shipping Clerk to join our team in?Kirkland, WA. This is an onsite position, working Monday - Friday in the facility.? JOB SUMMARY The Shipping Clerk will schedule, process and track product shipments in partnership with internal and external customers. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods * Communicate and coordinate with transportation companies * Handle routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle * Log order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary * Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges * Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped * Review customer orders MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Demonstrates awareness of job duties (typically * Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, DHL Easy Ship and UPS Worldship desired. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS * As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by?International Traffic in Arms Regulations?(ITAR).?Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible. * An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and?drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis. Salary is $18.46 - $24.97?per hour.
