HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the industrial sector in Branford, CT!Salary: $25 - $30/hr, based on experienceShift: Full-time, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMLocation: Branford, CT, US, 06405Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.• Resolve safety concerns and maintain a safe working environment.• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties to keep the facility clean and organized.• Monitor inventory supplies and maintain accurate maintenance records.• Read and interpret maintenance literature and blueprints.• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.Education Requirements:• High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift.• Preferred: Boiler knowledge and HVAC experience.• Preferred: Experience and ability to perform welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.If you are interested, please apply!
