*Job Title:* Clinic Nurse Manager *Date:* 01/11/2024If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.*Reports to:* Director of Operations *Supervises:* Nursing Staff*Department:* Nursing*Job Summary:*Within the framework of the objectives and policies established by the GMA Administration and its Board of Directors will plan and coordinate nursing services with those of the medical and administrative systems. The Clinical Nurse Manager will participate as a member of the hospital's management team in planning, policy formulation, and administrative decision making with attention to the role, functions, and operations of the clinic's nursing services. The position is responsible for patient care, management, resource management, and fiscal management.*Supervisory Responsibilities:** Responsible for nursing staff performance, staff recruitment, staff retention, and staff development.*Roles & Responsibilities** Defines and maintains the standards of nursing practice in the institution.* Assesses the quality of care rendered. Develops and initiates skills testing/training to determine core competencies of nursing staff.* Initiates the development of policies and procedures that govern nursing services and other services under his or her supervision.* Verifies employee credentials under his or her position supervision.* Collaborates with other departments and agencies regarding resources and services for improved patient care and staff development.* Plans, develops, and implements a budget process for staffing and services rendered.* Evaluates the quality and cost-effectiveness of staffing and services within the goals of the clinic.* Serves as a spokesperson for nursing matters and represents the clinic with professional nursing and related organizations.* Participates in meetings and committees.* Encourages and supports research and improvement studies that can make meaningful contributions to the quality and economy of nursing services.* Serves as staff nurse when needed to fill vacancies.* Oversees OSHA program, provides training, ensures compliance and facilitates root cause analysis for all patient safety events.*Qualifications:**Required Skills/Abilities: ** Outstanding organizational skills.* Thorough understanding on management theories.* Knowledge of employee management.* Thorough understanding of nursing management strategies.* Knowledge of financial management.* Knowledge of the foundations of health laws.* Knowledge of statistics and research methodologies.*Education and Experience:** Professional nurse with a current state license.* At least three years of supervisory experience in a nursing environment.*Physical Requirements: ** Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.* Prolonged periods of standing and moving.* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times with or without assistance.Job Type: Full-timePay: $74,000.00 - $94,283.34 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Bereavement leave* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Family leave* Free parking* Gym membership* Health insurance* License reimbursement* Life insurance* Loan repayment program* Mileage reimbursement* Paid holidays* Paid time off* Vision insuranceMedical specialties:* Geriatrics* PediatricsSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to FridayWork setting:* Clinic* In-personAbility to Relocate:* Whitefish, MT 59937: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
