About Midwest Services GroupWe are a leading provider of quality pipeline services, restoration, and vegetation management. We work to improve the lives of those around us by maintaining the integrity of America's infrastructure.How you get to help us do that in this roleFacilitate pipeline services for gas, oil, and utility companies by cutting and clearing trees and vegetationWhat you'll doMaximize operational reach across our service geography through extensive travelProvide timely and safe transportation of equipment by securing loads and traveling to and from sitesMaintain clear and safe right-of-ways by ensuring they remain free from vegetation obstructions, hazards, and accessibility issuesEnsure safe and efficient tree ascent using climbing equipmentIdentify and address signs of damaging pests or disease in inspected treesExecute tree felling and log cutting/splitting with precision and safety using wedges, sledges, and chainsawsPrune trees safely and effectively using rope and saddleEnsure the safety and stability of tree care tasks by proficiently tying knots and upholding industry-leading tree care safety standardsFacilitate smooth and safe vehicle and equipment operations through effective signaling and directionMaximize work site, truck, and equipment safety, efficiency, reliability, and longevity through proper operation, organization, inspection, and maintenance (climbing gear, aerial lifts, chainsaws, woodchippers, etc...)About youYou value safety and a drug-free environment.
