In order to be considered for this role, after clicking "Apply Now" above and being redirected, you must fully complete the application process on the follow-up screen.The Utah Jazz, a franchise of the Smith Entertainment group(SEG) is currently seeking a highly motivated Producer with a passion for sports and storytelling. The Producer is responsible for executing the creation of content and bringing stories to life for the Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club. Project activations for branded content, sponsorship for digital platforms, advertising and promotional assets. The Producer will work inside the marketing operations department and assist with concepting, pre-production planning, video shooting, and orchestrating delivery of a diverse range of digital projects and original content.This is a full-time position based in Salt Lake City, UT.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide hands-on coordination and production support for all internal and sponsored video content needs. Source and manage locations, talent, and rentals in support of various Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club video projects. Manage production budget, including internal and external resources.Manage production team on set, including creative producers, videographers, gaffer grip, and PAs.Lead the pre-production process including assigning roles, budgeting, managing workflow, booking, and shoot planning.Help manage internal and external client relations in high-level meetings and planning sessions.Work with project managers to cross-train in production management and learn established project management processes while adapting them to the production environment. Consult for rental or purchase of production tools, equipment, and production-related proposals.Coordinate with Broadcast, Streaming, Social, Marketing, and PR teams to ensure video projects are shared with all parties and can be utilized across multiple channels. Work in collaboration with motion graphic designers for custom needs - helping to elevate the overall product.Stay up to date on new video techniques and trends within the industry.
