Position Summary: Perform maintenance activities that provide services necessary to sustain production and building operations in Teterboro location. Complete assigned tasks dealing with trouble shooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of all production and plant machinery, equipment, and facilities. Participate and execute design improvements and process upgrades (small projects). Participate in safety evaluations and inspections. Provide support to Flavor & S&C operation and perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance supervisor/manager. NOTE: This position will work Monday - Friday from 4:30am - 1:00pm out of our Teterboro NJ location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform maintenance work assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. Follow all plant safety and hygiene requests procedures required in a GMP plant. * Responsible for following Maintenance Department procedures such as completing work and PM orders in SAP and managing parts inventory. * Plant contact for outside contractors performing maintenance and/or project work and issuing work permits as required. * Provide input on plant projects for safe and efficient maintenance operation. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma / GED or equivalent level of education. * Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as an industrial Technician / Mechanic repairing, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial machines and equipment (i.e. conveyor systems, extruders, forklifts, gearboxes, etc.). * NJ Low Pressure Boiler Operator's license required. * Must have broad technical background analyzing and solving problems in electrical, piping and mechanical systems. * Able to perform calibration on equipment and possess mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams/schematics and PIDs. * Able to disassemble and repair various pieces of equipment including but not limited to pumps, fans, gearboxes, controllers etc. * Directs contractors or other subs as needed in complex repair work at the site. * Having prior GMP experience, is desired. * Welding skills are a plus.
