This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Accounting, Accounts Payable, GAAP, Month End Close, and Billing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice, improving financial processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee all aspects of our company's financial systems including accounting, accounts payable, billing, and month-end close procedures. 2. Provide financial consulting services to various departments, offering advice on financial strategies, potential risks, and investment decisions. 3. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other financial regulations. 4. Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations. 5. Prepare and present financial reports and metrics to senior management, providing accurate and timely financial information for decision-making. 6. Identify areas of cost reduction and operational improvements, providing recommendations to senior management. 7. Participate in the budgeting process, providing input and analysis to support the company's financial goals. 8. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. 9. Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for various projects. 10. Provide training and support to accounting staff and other departments on accounting procedures and systems.Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or financial consulting, preferably in the manufacturing and/or distribution industry. 3. Proficiency in Accounting, Accounts Payable, GAAP, Month End Close, and Billing. 4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. 5. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. 6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in an understandable way. 7. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team. 8. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. 9. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred. 10.
