The ideal candidate will have experience in our industry, preferably in accounting and controlling. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline our budgeting, and reporting processes. They will also produce thorough financial status reports for senior managers to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth. Work experience as a Finance Associate/Finance Manager/Controller. Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation. Hands-on experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. Experience with cash management and risk assessments. Good knowledge of ERP systems, accounting software (QuickBooks, Monitor, Fishbowl), and Excel.RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and develop internal processes safeguarding proper accounting, reporting, and follow-up. Establish (in coordination with the Managing Director and peers) financial and operating budgets and reporting standards monthly and annually. Ensure that our company adheres to the group and general accounting policies. Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows. Develop the finance function and find the right balance between internal and external resources and support.OBJECTIVES OF ROLE: Support and drive the transformation of the company's U.S. finance function from external to internal. Play a vital role in the setup of new ERP ( Monitor), Reporting and Budget tool (Tagetik), and BI reporting (Power BI). Together with the Managing Director and peers, drive success and ensure business and strategic plan fulfillment. Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers and Group HQ in Sweden by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points. Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape. Set and track financial KPIs. Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines. Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
