The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting and financial operations. They will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial data, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing strategic financial analysis to support business decisions.Why join us? Lead and manage all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. 2. Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP. 3. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements. 4. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. 5. Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors as necessary. 6. Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process. 7. Conduct financial analysis, variance, and cash flow forecasting to support business decisions. 8. Lead the financial planning and analysis function to deliver insightful financial analysis and guidance to the executive team. 9. Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including Charitable Status, Sales Tax, Withholding Payments, Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax. 10. Manage and oversee the continuous improvement of Accounting and Finance processes and the development of the team with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly preferred. 2. 5+ years of progressive experience in a senior accounting or financial management role. 3. Solid experience in financial analysis, financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting. 4. Extensive knowledge and experience with GAAP. 5. Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. 6. Proven experience in financial planning, profit and loss analysis, and strategic planning. 7. Excellent leadership and team management skills. 8. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and data management systems such as Sage and Restaurant365. 9. Experience in the food manufacturing industry. 10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. 11. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proven ability to drive results. 12.
