Newly created position due to growth Strong leadership team focused on mentoring and professional development Excellent advancement potential Fun collaborative culture and work environment Hybrid remote - onsite for month-end close (4 days), remote the rest of the monthJob DetailsEssential Duties And Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and complete various general ledger operations Participate in monthly and annual closing process Prepare and distribute financial reports Assist in the preparation of financial statements Present information on various financial topics as requested by management Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts and corresponding schedules Prepare account or expense analysis as requested by management Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts Perform bank account reconciliations Assist Accounts Payable/ Receivable staff in invoice processing and reconciliation activities Assist Accounting Specialist staff in revenue recognition and reconciliation activities Assist senior accounting staff with general accounting functions or special projects Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual financial and tax audits Participate in the implementation and/or maintenance of internal financial controls, business processes, and proceduresEducation And Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four-year university. One to three (1-3) years' experience in accounting or finance related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Previous accounting experience in retail, supply chain, or manufacturing industries. Previous experience or knowledge in accounts payable/ receivable processes. Previous experience or knowledge in bank reconciliation processes. Knowledge of or experience with ERP and business intelligence systems such as Oracle Cloud Fusion, and QuickBooks.
