Department Information At Kennesaw State University, the Division of Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Development, and Inclusive Excellence (OLI) is tasked with enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall performance across all departments and units, creating a culture of leadership, and promoting a welcoming campus climate in pursuit of continuous growth and improvement. Job Summary Serves as a hands-on project manager who works with division and college leadership teams to deliver project management, portfolio management, and implementation support for key strategic initiatives. Manages large-scale, enterprise-level projects that align to university strategic priorities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient implementation of enterprise-level initiatives. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Manages the planning, design, execution, and implementation of large-scale projects, programs, and change initiatives 2. Manages changes to project plan, schedule, cost, and scope 3. Identifies critical path decisions and communicates to project stakeholders 4. Provides guidance and support to project team and managers 5. Builds and maintains relationships with campus partners 6. Collaborates with project team members in making strategic decisions when appropriate 7. Defines, tracks, assesses, and communicates the value and impact of projects through value assessment surveys and case study development 8. Develops regular project status reports for both project sponsors and strategic implementation committees 9. Conducts presentations related to project management 10. Engages in change management within the scope of unit projects 11. Responsible for portfolio management across unit projects Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field. Required Experience Five (5) years of direct project management experience. Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional Certification Preferred Educational Qualifications An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field Preferred Experience Experience with project management software solutions Experience in higher education Proposed Salary The budgeted salary range is $84,180 to $95,000. Offers are based on relevant experience.
