Come join our team! Summary: This role is a direct report to the Regional Sales Manager. The Account Manager manages the sales process for the AGI division. The position gives particular emphasis to thermal processing and the metal joining process. Emphasis is on driving organic growth and new business. The successful account manager expands the customer base, explores new markets, and grows sales from the territory in which they operate. This position works directly with customers, local plant teams, and management to develop solutions. The position is hands-on, uses problem-solving techniques, and requires a technical understanding of the business. Major Responsibilities: * Develop an in-depth understanding of thermal processing and metal joining features and benefits. * Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders, potential customers, and executive sponsors. * Cultivate new business opportunities, expand customer base, and explore new markets. * Conduct sales calls, and receive and respond to phone inquiries from customers and potential customers. * Develop and deliver quotations, and provide clarification of customer requirements. * Partnering with employees at the plant level to monitor progress of work to meet customer expectations. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: * A BS degree with a technical emphasis is preferred. * 5+ years' experience in sales, customer service, or related fields. * Experience in developing business in aerospace manufacturing. * Experience in thermal processing, aerospace, or metals industries is preferred.
