The BarthHaas Group conducts business on every continent and is a world leader in breeding, growing, processing, and marketing hops and hops products.Position Summary: The Production Coordinator assists with administrative work related to daily operations and work orders. The position also performs as administrative/office support to the plant and/or production manager(s).Primary Responsibilities:50%- Help coordinate production activities by assisting with production records and work order flows, as well as communication with Sales Administration or other departments, etc. Enter Ross production jobs or other required Ross transactions. 20%- Organize and monitor the Kanban system in order to ensure materials and packaging are available for processing. Order necessary materials and packaging. Enter purchase orders into Ross.15%- Provide administrative support to manager and supervisors including managing visitor log, safety introductions, and related emergency procedures. Ensure that the Health and Safety Boards and Communication Boards are up to date. Utilize SharePoint to coordinate team members. Help communicate company activities and events. Assist plant manager with coding and delivery of all invoices to accounts payable. Assist with timecards, vacation tracking, and attendance point tracking10%- Oversight of SDS, food grade certificates, kosher certificates, and halal certificates receipt, accuracy, and availability to all related personnel. This includes annual audits of SDS binders, and annual procurement of SDS and certificates from suppliers. Complies with John I. Haas, Inc. Environmental Management system (EMS), and in particular Universal Waste, Hazardous Waste, and Emergency Response requirements. Understands the importance of roles and responsibilities and potential consequence for departure from the procedure.5%- Other duties as assigned. Conditions of Employment:1. Work a 40-hour work week. Any hours worked over 40 per week will be paid as overtime.2. Must comply with all John I. Haas, Inc. policies and procedures including successful passing of pre-employment drug test and background check.3. Must be able to walk/stand/sit for long periods of time.4. Must comply with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and be trained on procedures applicable to the requirements of the position, including managing significant quality, environmental, and food safety aspectsQualifications:Required:Ability to perform basic level math as needed.Computer experience with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word including excellent typing skills.Excellent communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.Detail oriented and organizedPreferred:Experience working in a fast pace environment while juggling multiple responsibilities at one time.Knowledge or experience in the hop industryKnowledge of safety and food safety regulations. Please keep in mind this range represents the range for all positions in the pay grade within which this position falls.
