About the job: In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Maintenance Technician performs multi-skilled tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and general maintenance What you'll do: * Ensure visitor's safety. * Overhaul various equipment as required. * Installs, maintains, repairs, and trouble shoots HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. * Attends all in-service training required by the job position and meets the facility annual mandatory guidelines for training. * Responsible for compliance with Organizational Integrity through raising questions and promptly reporting actual or potential wrongdoing. * All other duties as assigned. What we're looking for: * Education: High school graduate or GED. Technical training in mechanical, electrical, and * * Licensure/Certification: Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred. * Experience: Minimum one year experience in repair/maintenance boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and/or general maintenance. * Knowledgeable with equipment and tools relating to HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general * * Ability to make necessary repairs to walls, ceiling, etc. before painting. * Ability to make necessary repairs to doors, hardware and associated components. * Ability to read blue prints * Ability to understand how mechanical and electrical systems work in the facility. * Must have valid Ohio driver's license. * * - Mount Carmel and all its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity employers.
