Job Description Assists in picking up and delivering various items between various internal and external hospital locations. Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility. Schedule: Monday to Friday 1-9pm and one Saturday Month 10-6pm Job Responsibility 1.Assists in picking-up and delivering equipment, supplies, medications, specimens to various internal and external hospital locations. 2.Handles items in accordance with operating procedures. 3.Ensures timely delivery of items to appropriate locations; communicates delays in delivery / pickup time, as required. 4.Operates transport vehicles both on and off property. 5.Performs pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle. 5.Maintains vehicle mileage records. 6.Operates all vehicles in accordance with applicable laws; fuels vehicles as necessary. forms management of all vehicle activities and issues. 8.Performs related duties as required.
