Job Description

Overview Position Overview: Seeking a motivated self-starter who can work independently and is proactive, to perform a variety of administrative responsibilites that include working on the floor of the warehouse in order to pick, pull, package, repair product and coordinate orders for shipments. Have some knowledge of accounts payable invoices, shipping documents, and scheduling trucks for shipments and receipts. Responsibilities Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly, reports and correcting system information. Daily communication with computer room to initiate orders for shipment, investigating errors, and closing out orders for invoicing. Coordinates and schedules shipments of remainders, shipping for work orders, walk arounds, and customer orders. Coordinates and dispatch for incoming shipments. Prepare bills of lading for domestic and international shipments and run cycle count paperwork. Must be able to communicate with other locations via email, telephone and fax. Communicates internally with warehouse personnel, works in warehouse when time is available. Qualifications Requirements: * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize work and manage time in a fast-paced environment * Must be capable of sitting for extended periods of time. * Must be detail oriented with strong data entry skills * Must have strong verbal and written communication skills * Possess the capability of operating standard office equipment, computers, scanners, phones, photocopiers * Ability to perform intermediate math calculations * Strong Working Knowledge of AS400 and proficiency in Windows based environment * High School graduate or equivalent (GED) * Lifting to 50 pounds, occasionally * Must be able to read and write English * MS Office Physical Demands * Ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers * Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying * Walking, climbing up and down, bending, reaching, crouching, grasping, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying * Specific Vision abilities would include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus * The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, making hearing protection optional but not required * Hearing is necessary due to the automated equipment used (horn honking required to notify pedestrians that vehicles are near)
