Job Description

Catholic Eldercare is seeking an organized Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to be responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes. The AP/AR Specialist will work in-person, 24 hours per week (benefit-eligible), as a part of the Business Office team. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include: Accounts Payable:Review and process all invoices for appropriate documentation and process check requests, garnishments, tax payments, and all other manual checks. Maintain accurate records and organize filing system.  Accounts Receivable:Process and reconcile all resident payments and record appropriate systems.Prepare bank transactions for Controller.Assist with general ledger and account reconciliations. General:Assist the member of Business Office and the Leadership Team with miscellaneous administrative tasks, presentations, and reporting.Assist vendors, residents, families, and external and internal accounts inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Requirements:One or more years of experience in accounting, payables, or receivables.  Solid understanding of basic accounting procedures and accounts payable principles. Experience with enterprise resource software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and computer systems.  Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and/or Sage Intaact.   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Effective Communicator and active listener who seeks to understand - in person, via email, and in writing.Social sensitivity and awareness of the values, practices, and reactions of others.Service Orientation with a strong desire to help others and assume their positive intent.Positive, person-centered approach with resilience in dealing with difficult situations.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and work priorities. Constant contact with othersCompensation: $25-27 per hour, DOQ.
