JOB SUMMARY The maintenance technician will be responsible for running a large semi-automated apparel distribution center operating 1 shift per day, 5 days per week with occasional overtime. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintaining equipment to ensure optimum up-time percentages * Performing regular preventive maintenance on conveyor, SRMs, tilt tray sorter and lift trucks QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree/ Technical degree in electrical/mechanical services * 2 years of experience on electrical systems and conveyors COMPETENCIES * Accountability - Taking responsibility for one's own performance and accepting full ownership of issues, problems and opportunities, regardless of the source * Quality Focus - Ensuring that one's own work in one's own area of the business is performed with excellence and to high standards for quality and integrity * Initiating Action - Tending to be a self-starter and taking a lead role in improving or enhancing a product or service or avoiding problems.
