We are expanding and looking for passionate individuals to join our team as Landscape Account Managers in Training. Position Overview: As a Landscape Account Manager in Training, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining excellent client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up on job quality, improvement areas, and client requests. You will oversee operations related to maintenance accounts, including creating punch lists and proposals, ordering materials, and managing site irrigation. Key Responsibilities: * Meet face-to-face with clients regularly, providing updates and attending meetings. * Offer horticulturally sound site improvement recommendations. * Conduct frequent site inspections, creating punch lists and ensuring task completion. * Maintain high-quality standards for all sites. * Ensure proper operation and maintenance of irrigation systems. * Supervise crews and irrigators, communicating irrigation issues and solutions. * Schedule and supervise landscape maintenance work using company software. * Serve as a role model for organizational policies and handle HR and safety protocols. Qualifications: * Formal education in Horticulture or related field and/or several years of field experience. * QAL (or ability to obtain), CLIA, CLT, and other licenses/certificates are beneficial. * Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus. * Valid class "C" California Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Skills and Knowledge: * Landscape management principles, safe work practices, horticulture, and plant materials. * Proficiency in computer and smartphone operation. * Strong math skills for fertilization and area calculations. * Ability to build client relationships, organize schedules, and manage time effectively. * Self-motivated with strong communication skills in English. * Capability to propose and sell property enhancements and manage costs within a budget. Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand, walk, crouch, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds. * Walk long distances on sloped and uneven ground.
