Their teamwork mixed with inherent knowledge and commitment ensures all sessions are a high quality training experience for every member.Job Responsibilities Implement daily class workoutsMotivate and interact with studio members before, during and after class sessionsInstruct and demonstrate each movement in the workoutAbility to explain, modify, regress, and progress movements performed as needed to keep members safe and challenge them appropriatelyCommunicate, lead and maintain organization in a loud and often chaotic environmentUnderstand and demonstrate safe practices when coaching in a group settingOpportunities for personal training outside class hoursRepresent RACKED both inside and outside of the studio and actively participate in member engagementAbility to lift and move weights, benches, and other equipment (weighing up to 100lbs) to their appropriate storage locationsClean off equipment and high-use areas after each sessionRequirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Outgoing, energetic, positive personality Current fitness certification from accredited organization NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE or similar Highly preferred: Strength & Conditioning Certification such as CSCS (NSCA), CFSC (Mike Boyle), PPSC (John Rusin), or similar Current CPR/First Aid certification A background check will be conducted on all final candidates upon receipt of the signed offer letter and release form.Ideal Candidate (what to look for):Character: drive, charisma, coachability, curiosity, team-ability, attention to detail, integrity 1 + years of experience in coaching and programming for clients in strength, mobility, and conditioningFunctional Movement and/or corrective exercise certification and coaching experience Examples: FMS, NASM CES Experience coaching and programming for large groups or teamsActive on social media platformsPhysical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role is required to safely demonstrate and perform various exercise movements with and/or without the use of equipment and have the ability to transport equipment (up to 100 lbs)Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class, which may include, but not limited to, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, running, crawling, and kneelingThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
