Job Description: Pentair has a job opportunity for you! Join us as a Maintenance Technician in our Conroe, Texas facility. This position will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes and electrical systems at site. What's in it for you? * The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $28.00 - $29.00. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. * Eligibility for annual pay increases based on company & individual performance * 11 paid holidays each year * 2 weeks of vacation to start (accrued weekly) prorated based on hire date * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * Tuition reimbursement to support your education goals More details about the opportunity: * Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and install new or repaired parts. * Troubleshoot and install electrical equipment, 4-20ma, 24vac, 90vdc, single and 3 phase up to 480v, VFD, PLC, Servo Drive, Encoder, Proximity Switch, laser sensors. * Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. * Troubleshoots or repairs machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. * Sets up and operate manual machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools. Operates cutting torches to cut, weld with Mg, Tig. Position Hours/Shift: * 1st shift hours Monday through Thursday from 5am - 3:30pm * Must be open to working overtime if needed on Friday. Physical Requirements: Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 pounds.
