Position Title: Outlook Technician Location: San Diego, CA Target Hourly Range: $21 - $25 (DOE) The Outlook/VMI Technician position is responsible for deliveries or services of key vending account customers and customer cabinets/storerooms relative to inventory of gasses, consumables and safety products. San Diego Outlook VMI Technician will focus on servicing existing accounts throughout an assigned territory. The TGM Technician will service gas customers to ensure cylinders/VGLs are replaced as needed. Additionally, this position does basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed. * Accurately completes and files all required paperwork on a timely basis. * Enters sales orders and completes routes in a timely manner. * Provides warehouse support for shipping & receiving, inventory stocking, cleaning, labeling, or other tasks. * Restocks store merchandise according to inventory as needed. * Follows all safety procedures. * Uses established safety procedures for cylinder handling during exchanges and storage of cylinders. * Maintains showroom cleanliness by procedures set forth by management. * Stays current on product knowledge or changes. * Perform basic troubleshooting and repair mechanical systems as needed. * Review manual stock levels of various inventories for vending machines. * Tracks and turns in delivery tickets and consignment fill tickets. * Maintains all required vehicle documents ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries. * Ensure that vehicle manifests, labeling, and load is in compliance with regulatory guidelines such as those pertaining to the Department of Transportation (DOT), Food & Drug. * Ensure all loads are secure, and vehicle cleanliness is maintained at all times. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? * High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Welding Technology, or Sales. * Minimum of 2 years of previous product, warehouse, and/or sales-related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience). * Strong background in gas, welding, and safety supply industry with retail experience preferred * SAP experience is strongly preferred. * Prior welding experience is preferred such as knowledge in MIG, TIG, and STICK WELDING preferred. * Prior experience operating a forklift preferred About Airgas Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products; one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products.
