We seek a senior-level communications professional to work with DARPA's Microsystems Technology Office (MTO) to provide expertise in media relations and writing/editing.This position will communicate groundbreaking technologies ranging from quantum computing and nanobots to using atom-based devices to create fully autonomous navigation and timing systems. We're looking for someone fascinated by groundbreaking technology who's also gifted at explaining it in accessible terms to lay audiences.This is NOT an entry or mid-level position. We seek a highly qualified individual with specific experience who can manage large, multifaceted programs independently and with minimal supervision. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience, great interpersonal skills, and experience with highly technical and scientific material. The preferred candidate will have direct experience working with defense-related government programs.A security clearance will be required.
