Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.CNO Financial Group's Accounting Department is hiring a Director Financial Reporting to manage consolidated financial reporting for the enterprise including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other SEC filings.This is your opportunity to lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.As a Director Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will include:Drafting and managing the entire 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other SEC filing process.Reviewing and analyzing consolidated financial results.Communicating consolidated financial results to management.Leading revenue recognition accounting and reporting.Assisting or leading the design of certain complex accounting and reporting processes.Leading SOX documentation for consolidated financial statements.Assisting in the audit of consolidated financial statements.Leading or assisting in projects to increase close process efficiency and effectiveness.The Director Financial Reporting position is well-suited for you if you:Have an in-depth knowledge of GAAP and Statutory insurance accounting.Can review consolidated financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Are analytical and possess problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze GAAP and statutory financial results.Possess in-depth knowledge of SEC reporting requirements.Collaborate with accounting, finance and actuarial professionals in the timely completion of consolidated financial statements.Can manage and review complex accounting processes.What you'll need:Bachelor's degree in accounting.Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Ten years of relevant professional experience.What will set you apart:Master's degree in accounting.The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:medical insurancedental insurancevision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchshort-term & long-term disability insurancePaid time-off and corporate holidayspaid parental leavecompany paid life insuranceCNO embraces flexibility and encourages you to work where you're most productive.
