Who you are:You understand that every successful construction project starts with a GREAT estimate!  You possess the ability to see the big picture to optimize the accuracy in your estimates.  A natural planner, you know your best work comes from laying the groundwork and then diving into the details. You understand that great estimators aren't born, they are made.  Juggling multiple projects simultaneously comes with the territory.  Your attitude is, if you keep a rock from pressure, it will never become a diamond!         Responsibilities for this position include:Review drawings and specs to establish vendor scopes.Review vendor proposals for accuracy to scope specifications and client requests.Ensure all estimates accurately attain company goals while being competitive.Generate professional proposal packages for all estimated projects.Complete and send proposals on or before their respective deadline.Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of all estimate data, including labor, tax, overhead, material cost, etc.Communicate with potential and current clients and the design team to clarify scope requirements as needed.Communicate contract award notifications.Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the estimating software.Create and maintain a written process flow for the estimating department.Understand and track market conditions.Ensure subcontractor procurement.Establish and maintain a bid calendar.  Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree or 6 years of commercial estimating experience A minimum of 2 years commercial estimating experienceProficiency in Procore Bid Management preferredWhat we offer:We offer Healthcare Insurance, PTO, 401K match, and ancillary insurance options.
