Description:Well-established women's medical imaging organization seeking a Patient Financial Coordinator to work in our Foley, AL office.Women's Imaging Specialists currently have 14 physical locations in GA and AL that provide state-of-the-art 2D / 3D diagnostic medical imaging services specializing in digital mammography and breast ultrasound.?The primary responsibility for this role is to review patient insurance benefits and insurance requirements for all scheduled diagnostic imaging exams. This position will contact the appropriate insurance company via telephone and/or insurance website for the purpose of identifying patient eligibility, obtaining information regarding deductibles, co-payments and co-insurance amounts due for diagnostic breast imaging, general ultrasound and x-ray, documenting all information in the patient's account. Candidate will make patient outreach call to notify patient of their Out Of Pocket responsibility.GENERAL SUMMARYVerify patient's insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorization when neededCall patients to inform them of their OOP responsibilityReferral management; coordination of benefitsDocument all pertinent information with patient and payer as it relates to the verification of benefitsUtilize third-party payer/insurance portalsHandle in bound and out bound callsOther related duties as requiredRequirements:Must be a High School graduate (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years of related work experience in a physician's office.Proficiency in basic Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability and willingness to learn our scheduling and EMR software.Must have 1-2 years' experience in a medical office setting with billing/insurance verificationExperience with obtaining authorizationsAbility to prioritize, problem solve, and multitaskExcellent attention to detailWritten and verbal communication skillsPhone and customer service experienceStrong work ethicConsidering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.Compensation details: 16-17 Hourly WagePId0380aafa266-36310-34630998
