General Purpose of Position:Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.A cashier is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Zaxby's standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, cash register operations and safe guarding company assets.Tasks and Responsibilities:Smile, have a pleasant demeanor and always treat customers and coworkers like you would like to be treated. Fully accept diversity in age, race, sex, national origin, lifestyle, challenges, thinking, opinions and ideas.Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and accurately maintain all cash and media at the registers.Communicate customer requests to management.Maintain orderly appearance of register area, dining room, rest rooms, parking lots and supplies stocked.Any other tasks assigned from time to time by any manager.Skills and Competencies:Ability to process information/merchandise through register systemAbility to communicate with other cashiers, BOH staff and customers.Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentationAbility to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.Requirements:Maintain physical condition necessary for standing, & walking for prolonged periods of time.Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.Disclaimer:This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
