Description Job Summary Processes and coordinates all parts, equipment, and other warranty claims between UTA and Suppliers. Coordinates with all departments to ensure warranties, extended warranties and labor are applied. Tracks warranty recovery dollars and enforces policies for tracking warranties. Evaluates applications, negotiates and expedites the return of inactive and obsolete inventory; recommending internal policies and provides training to the business units as needed. Acts as primary contact person between suppliers and the business units for all warranty claims Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION/TRAINING: Associates degree in business, supply chain management or related field required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years' experience in procurement or related field. Experience with warranty programs preferred. Experience with JD Edwards, Trapeze, or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system preferred. Intermediate skill using Excel, Outlook and Word. Ability to run reports in Citrix preferred. Ability to become certified with the aerial lift. Organizational skills and attention to detail required. To carry out essential functions of this job, must have a valid Utah's driver's license with no more than four moving violations in the past three years; or, if a non-driver, must be able to travel efficiently by another means to and from varied locations within UTA's service area. Lack of a driver's license does not necessarily preclude employment. No applicant may have more than one violation of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs within the last ten years.
