POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE Performs, generates and completes various administrative/secretarial duties for the Vice Presidents and CEO as well as other Division Directors and/or Managers as needed. Provides and performs secretarial, administrative and clerical support services such as preparing correspondence in final form, scheduling appointments, maintain files and taking minutes at associated meetings and CQI committees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Types memorandums, policies, committee minutes, manuals, letters, forms, procedures and other general typing as directed, initiating documents and correspondence as appropriate. Arranges appointments and meetings; coordinates meeting and agenda materials. Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to department staff. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Promptly answers telephone, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers. Participates in administrative staff meeting and attends other meetings as assigned. Performs related duties such as photocopying, as well as other duties assigned. Makes travel and lodging arrangements directly or through travel agencies. Qualifications EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE The job requires 3-5 years of job related experience.
