The Position: We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Security Manager. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have extensive prior experience in security, surveillance, and staff management between multiple locations and departments. Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, patients, and staff at all locations. Inspire, motivate, supervise, and direct staff at all Solar locations as well as make decisions regarding hiring, termination, and advancement of team members Train all new team members and provide training to current staff on any new job requirements or changes in standard operating procedures Evaluate Security Associates in accordance with Company policies Schedule Security Associates at all locations Monitor electronic surveillance and security alarm systems Perform security risk management tasks and manage all systems Carry out inspections to verify the integrity of security protocols in place and adjust as needed Update SOPs as changes to policy and/or regulations occur and ensure compliance among team Keep Compliance team up to date on any security areas of concern and consult with Director of Compliance on anything that may need to be modified Conduct staff protective security awareness campaigns Complete incident reports when necessary Direct and/or monitor traffic and parking on and around all facility property Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Director of Security Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of experience in a management and security environment Cannabis experience preferred Possess a sharp attention to detail, and ability to record information accurately Strong interpersonal, leadership, project management, and time management skills Practical and proactive thinking Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with your team
